Gut health and the microbiome are crucial for our overall well-being. The microbiome is a collection of microorganisms that live in our gut and play a vital role in digestion, immune function, and mental health. A healthy microbiome can help control inflammation, regulate hormones, and improve nutrient absorption. Taking care of our gut health through a balanced diet and probiotics can have a significant impact on our overall health and quality of life. I believe in using food as medicine to support a healthy gut. By incorporating probiotic-rich foods as well as prebiotic foods like garlic and onions, we can nourish the good bacteria in our gut and improve digestion. Osteoperosis
Osteoporosis is a disease that causes bones to become brittle and fragile, increasing the risk of fractures. While traditional medical treatments can be effective, holistic modalities can also play an important role in improving health. As your nurse coach I will work with you to develop a personalized plan that includes nutrition, exercise, stress reduction, and other lifestyle changes that can help improve bone density and overall health. By taking a holistic approach, women with osteoporosis can improve their quality of life and reduce their risk of fractures. As a young female in her 40s with this diagnosis.... I am passionate about helping assist against further bone loss!!!
